Job: Manager, Purchasing

Jobing Description

Opportunity Profile:
Manages the routine and assigned activities related to the following Purchasing activities: procurement of non-raw material and raw materials, returns, credits and compilation of monthly financial summary. Performs job functions in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree and four years of experience is required OR Minimum of a Master s Degree and two years of experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures as well as government regulations.

Requires understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Position functions autonomously. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
