Job Description Imagine yourself

* Processing and preparing medication and pharmaceutical supply requests.

* Filling and maintaining patient medication drawers.

* Ensuring proper billing for pharmacy customers and patients.

* Reporting medication discrepancies to detect possible medication errors.

* Performing departmental inspections to maintain accurate levels of floor stock and medication are in date and properly labeled.

* Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and inpatient pharmacy area.

General Qualifications
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be able to type 40 wpm with accuracy.

Desired Qualifications
* Experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a formal pharmacy technician program is preferred.
