Description
SUMMARY: The Software Developer/Analyst III- HR is responsible for providing focus and skill resulting in the improvement of the Green Mountain Coffee Human Resource processes and Payroll in the Oracle PeopleSoft Application. This position is focused on systems analysis, business process analysis, information consistency, and Development in PeopleSoft to support process initiatives in Human Resources and Payroll as part of our Enterprise Information Systems Team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze business goals, rules, and processes across various information systems tools and technology
Simplify, enhance, engineer or re-engineer the business processes.
Develop and maintain documents for requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance of the information systems tools and technology.
Work hand in hand with business owners, other system developers and Oracle Support to insure optimization of Payroll and Human Resources in support of the Enterprise Systems Architecture
Develop or enhance information systems solutions as needed within Oracle PeopleSoft Human Resources.
Perform support, maintenance, and upgrades on information Systems tools and technology in support of Human Resources.
Research, develop and/or enhance tools to monitor and maintain the health and reliability of the information systems
Acquire new skills and knowledge to stay at the fore front of information systems tools for Human Resources.
Research best practices and techniques to improve the business processes
OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:
Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by GMCR and the department.
Performs other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
7 or more years experience in systems analysis, business process re-engineering, and software development implementation in support of Payroll and Human Resource processes ideally for a multi-site company with centralized Human Resource and Finance departments.
3 or more years experience developing applications using PeopleTools to deliver application functionality with superior end user performance
Experience with Enterprise Payroll and Human Resource Applications
Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Payroll and Human Resources (Benefits, ePerformance, Talent Acquisition, and Learning)
A clear grasp of the big picture in business, ability to see across the departments and follow the interaction between departments as business processes are executed
A passion for learning new technologies, applying technology in the solution of business problems and solving problems to root cause
Strong attention to detail is a must
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work in a professional team environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Positive attitude with ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Manufacturing best practices.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Predominately sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday).
