Jobing Description
The candidate will develop and assert quality assurance measures used in the testing, deployment and maintenance of several software applications. They will work with system owners and requirement leads to clarify, verify and trace requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and execution of software test plans and cases. They will perform configuration management tasks as required and release accepted applications into production. They will work closely with system administrators and the development staff to resolve application configuration and performance issues.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
Additional Qualifications Required Skills
Accumulated six (6) years of working experience in a software development setting with a minimum of two (2) years hands-on experience performing quality assurance tasks.
Strong practical knowledge of software development environments, relational databases and web technologies.
Practical experience in database scripting, generating queries in a SQL implementation.
Ability to communicate effectively, composing written and oral presentations to all IT levels and customers.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Skills
Practical experience in Windows networking and server administration
Fundamental understanding of Microsoft s Internet Information Services (IIS), .Net framework, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
Practical experience with automated testing applications.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
