Responsibilities:

Structural design of Highway bridges in accordance with AASHTO LRFD specifications. Including Prestressed Concrete and steel girder (straight and curved girders) superstructures and cast in place concrete abutments and piers. Structural design of railroad bridges using AREMA specifications. Field inspection and load rating of highway and railroad bridges.

Qualifications:

MSCE Preferred

*
EI minimum

*
0 to 10 years bridge design experience preferred

*
Good knowledge and understanding of LRFD

*
Working knowledge of VTrans design standards desired.
