Responsible for driving a commercial vehicle and the transportation and delivery of products to our customers where safety comes first. The position offers routes that enable drivers to be day drivers and conduct routes for short and longer runs

Required Skills

• CDL Class A license with a clean MVR for past seven years
• Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Two year’s tractor trailer driving experience with an excellent driving record
• Must have verifiable job history
• Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when necessary
• Leadership skills and great communication skills
• No DOT accidents, tickets or suspensions/revoked license in past 5 years
• No felonies, misdemeanors or DUI's within the last 7 years

Required Experience

• CDL Class A recent tractor trailer driving: 1-2+ years
• Knowledge of reading Maps & GPS
• Check shipping papers for accuracy at time of delivery
• Check product at time of delivery for accuracy and quality
• Check product for security at all times
• Understanding topography as it relates to terrain and what is safe and feasible for loads
• Knowledge of road rules and safety
• Knowledge of load security
• Loading and unloading freight
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, squat or pull as needed
• Process paperwork and use a computer or smartphone for time cards and communication
